Personalmente non ho mai avuto una singola rotazione ma varie modificate secondo boss e situazioni. In ogni caso su questa patch rotazioni e specializzazioni sembrano non avere senso a causa di secondi vuoti ed un calo enorme del dps. Sulla beta di cataclysm i poteri danno effetti diversi forse a causa della mancanza  del cobra shot che viene dato al livello 81 che sicuramente riempie gli spazi vuoti .
La settimana scorsa ho provato MM potenziando lo spell (con i trinket- quelli usati dai caster ) ed a voa su singolo boss sono arrivato a oltre 10k. No comment.
La situazione alla luce delle ultime prove sembrerebbe questa:
BM - DPS e danni equilibrati nel tempo
SV - picco di dps immediato con fasi discendenti
MM - dps con fase ascendente
Una delle cose più interessanti invece è la possibilità di cambiare i glipy secondo necessità.

HUNTER BM 4.0.1

Ho iniziato a studiare empiricamente la spec BM solo da domenica pomeriggio. Alcuni dettagli non mi sono quindi ancora molto chiari. Leggendo qua e là ho visto molte guide del BM, ma questa che posto è la più completa.

In base alle mie prove non sono completamente d'accordo su tutti i particolari (vedasi la spec consigliata: da molti si sostiene che l'Improved Serpent Sting sia imprescindibile e sembra confermarlo anche l'estensore della guida allorquando esalta le proprietà del nostro dot), ma indubbiamente fornisce una prima esaustiva indicazione.
Antonia mi perdonerà, ma per il momento mi è davvero impossibile procedere alla traduzione per motivi di tempo. Dal wording utilizzato mi pare evidente che sia scritta da un madre lingua anglosassone. Dunque dovrebbe essere maggiormente comprensibile anche da chi non ha la lingua di Albione in "shot's priority" ...   ;)

I. Basics
So obviously, hunters changed a lot. Pets got a serious buff and their mechanics changed a lot (more on that in a bit); our resource system is also no longer mana! Instead, it is focus. We regen focus at a set rate (currently still trying to be determined, although likely 3/second and increased by Haste); in addition, every Steady Shot we use gives us 9 focus. This, in essence, causes our damage to boil down to building it up with Steady Shot, and then dumping it with our cooldown ability (Kill Command) and focus dump (Arcane Shot).

Pet mechanics also changed. Their focus dumps (Bite/Claw/Smack) are now called “Basic Attacks” and have a 3 second cooldown. They cost 25 focus (with 2/2 Wild Hunt: when your pet is above 50 focus, Basic Attacks cost double focus and deal 220% damage) and are very hard-hitting; each Basic Attack your pet makes increases its attack speed by 6%, stacking 5 times (Frenzy talent). An important note is that this is different from your pet’s auto-attack: that is increased by haste and hits significantly less hard and does not cost focus. Basic Attacks do not have their cooldown reduced by Haste and are always a flat 3 second cooldown.


II. Spec, Glyphs, and Pet Choice

The points in Spirit Bond can be put into any other talent (I personally like Pathfinding for mount speed and faster runbacks after wipes); there’s really no other talent in BM that increases DPS.

Glyphs:
Prime: Kill Shot, Arcane Shot, Steady Shot
Major: Bestial Wrath, Mending, <personal choice>
Minor: Mend Pet, Feign Death, <personal choice>
Obviously if you really don’t want to use Glyph of Mending, Mend Pet, or Feign Death you can swap them out, but those are generally the most useful for raiding; Bestial Wrath is mandatory. Glyph of Kill Command is not worth it at 80; -3 focus on Kill Command does not compare to 12% more damage on Arcane Shot (main focus dump), 10% damage on Steady Shot (main focus generator), and double Kill Shot (costs no focus, hits hard).

Pet choice:
This mostly comes down to the flowchart posted in the “Hunters in 4.0.1!” sticky. You should be providing any missing raid buffs (while trying to use a Ferocity or Cunning pet, always). If all buffs are provided, use whatever Ferocity or Cunning pet you like the most! There is no DPS difference between exotic and non-exotic pets, but Exotics have an additional ability which can add utility (e.g. Core Hounds have Bloodlust, Devilsaurs have Mortal Strike effect, and Spirit Beasts can heal).
Note: While there's not a huge difference between Ferocity and Cunning pets, Tenacity pets do significantly less DPS.


III. Gear, Enchants, Gems, and Professions
Obviously, your gear will be whatever the best piece you can get out of ICC is. In terms of stat priorities, Agility is still king, while Intellect is gone (because it is now useless to us), as is Armor Penetration rating (replaced with Haste or Crit, depending on what else is on the gear). For secondary stats, the order is:
Hit > Mastery > Haste > Crit
The hit cap is now 246; each point of Hit is worth more DPS than any other stat.

Each point of Mastery (and decimals are calculated) gives your pet 1.7% more damage; since your pet hits like a truck anyway, and since Kill Command is modified by this, you should Reforge as much Crit as possible on every piece of gear into Mastery.

Haste has become incredibly useful to us. Our Global Cooldown is now only 1 second; so, we can now push the cast time of Steady Shot down below 1.5 seconds and see a benefit! (reaching a 1 second cast time, while amazing, is functionally impossible). More haste means we can cast more Steady Shots; this generates more focus, which means we can cast more Arcane Shots (it’s assumed that Serpent Sting is up all the time and Kill Command is used every 6 seconds), which is more direct damage and more procs of Cobra Strikes, which is also more damage (and more focus regen from Invigoration!). Crit, while not bad, is now our “worst” stat (but it’s still very useful!).

Gems:
Your first priority should be to reach the hit cap (246 hit rating, or 8%; for Draenei, it’s 7%, which is 216 hit rating). Hit gems are blue, Hit/Agility gems are purple. Put these in any blue slots you have to get those socket bonuses. If you somehow run out of blue sockets, put Hit/Agility gems in red sockets to pick up those socket bonuses.
Red sockets should have a hit/agility gem (if you need them) or a pure agility gem in them. Jewelcrafters should use 3 Delicate Dragon’s Eyes (+34 agility) in red sockets.
Yellow sockets should have haste/agility gems in them.
Note: Because hit, agi/hit, agi, and agi/haste gems are all fairly close in quality, gemming for socket bonuses is better than ignoring socket bonuses.
Note that it makes little difference whether you have separate hit and agility gems, or use mostly hit/agility gems. I personally use more hit/agility gems because purple gems cost half as many Justice Points as red and blue gems, and I farming heroics almost as much as I hate farming gold.

Enchants:
Helm: Arcanum of Torment (Ebon Blade Revered reward, Bind on Account)
Shoulders: Greater Inscription of the Axe (Sons of Hodir Exalted reward, Bind on Account)
Cloak: +22 Agility [for Engineers: also Flexweave Underlay]
Chest: +10 Stats
Bracers: +50 Attack Power (or Fur Lining - Attack Power for Leatherworkers)
Gloves: +20 Agility or +20 Hit Rating (if you need it) [for Engineers: also Hyperspeed Accelerators]
Belt: Eternal Belt Buckle
Legs: Icescale Leg Armor (or Nerubian Leg Reinforcements for Leatherworkers)
Boots: Icewalker, or if you are hit-capped without enchants/gems, +16 Agility (note: some people like Cat’s Swiftness; this is a personal taste thing) [for Engineers: also Nitro-boots]
Weapons: Massacre (for 2H weapon) or Accuracy (if you need Hit); Accuracy (for 1H weapon) or +26 Agility (for 1H weapon if you don’t need Hit)
Ranged Weapon: Sun Scope (+40 Haste Rating)

Professions:
The single best profession is Engineering; this previously was not true. However, the recent patch made it so that Tinkers stack with normal enchantments, making the Engineering bonuses (Hyperspeed Accelerators on gloves, Nitro-boots on boots, Flexweave Underlay on cloak) amazing. Saronite bombs are less useful because we generally don’t have the space to use them. Even though they don’t use a GCD, clicking them, targeting them, and throwing them takes up more time than exists in our rotation (note: if you can do all that in less than 1 second than you can use them after using Kill Command or Arcane Shot! But if you’re that fast, why aren’t you a professional Starcraft player?). After engineering, the best are:
Jewelcrafting (3x +34 agility gems for a total gain of +42 agility)
Blacksmithing (2 extra sockets for a total gain of +40 agility)
Herbalism (240 Haste for 20 seconds every 2 minutes)
Skinning (+40 Crit rating)
Alchemy/Enchanting/Leatherworking/Inscription (+80 AP)
Tailoring (Swordguard Embroidery - chance on hit to gain 400 AP for 15 seconds)
Mining (+60 Stamina) gives 0 DPS

If you really want to min-max as much as possible, then Jewelcrafting/Engineering is your best bet. I would suggest a mining alt if you do that though, as both professions require huge amounts of ore.


IV. Rotation: Basics (Focus Management)
There are a few parts to this, so I’ll break it down into its components and then work it all together at the end. Note that you may have to practice for an hour or more on a dummy to really get the hang of what’s going on, and raiding will also take a couple nights of sub-par performance before it really “clicks” (or at least, it did for me). Don’t get discouraged!
Basic priority: Hunter’s Mark > Kill Shot > Kill Command > Serpent Sting > Arcane Shot (if focus > 75) > Steady Shot
Hunter’s Mark is self-explanatory. Keep it up at all times.
1. Kill Shot
This costs no focus and hits incredibly hard, so is obviously worth using. With the glyph you can use it 2 times every 11 seconds (use it, cooldown reset, use it, 10 second cooldown). This is better than trying to space it out (due to the 6 second cooldown on the Kill Shot glyph), as that method results in 2 Kill Shots per 12 seconds if you do it perfectly.
2. Kill Command
Your biggest priority is making sure that every 6 seconds as soon as it comes off cooldown, you use Kill Command. It is our highest damage ability (outside of Kill Shot), and can proc Killing Streak, which causes it to hit even harder AND cost less focus! Your rotation should be balanced around keeping up enough focus to Kill Command every single time it comes off cooldown. If you’re just learning, focus on this first: better to have too much focus and need to dump later, rather than not have enough and have delayed Kill Commands.
3. Serpent Sting
Your 2nd priority is making sure you have enough focus to cast Serpent Sting every 15 seconds. It does a lot more damage than Arcane Shot and is absolutely worth keeping up on the target. Once you’re sure you have enough focus to case your next Kill Command, start thinking about when Serpent Sting will fall off and when you’ll need that 25 focus to refresh it. After you have perfect Kill Command timing, then start working on Serpent Sting timing; don’t try to learn both at the same time or you’ll get too lost in what’s going on.
4. Arcane Shot
This is your focus dump shot. It costs 25 focus, can proc Cobra Strikes, and hits decently hard. This is only used when you have enough focus to refresh Serpent Sting if it’s falling off soon (obviously you don’t need to budget out that 25 focus 15 seconds before you need to refresh it), and are sure you’ll have enough focus to cast Kill Command as soon as its cooldown finishes. Again, work this in last. Once you’re perfectly getting Kill Command and Serpent Sting, start to work in Arcane Shots. See where you can squeeze it in and still do Kill Command and Serpent Sting perfectly, and see where it focus starves you and you fall behind. Eventually you’ll get a sense of when to use it and when not to; this takes practice and game sense. Again, don’t get discouraged if you don’t get it right away! It took me about 5 hours in ICC to really feel comfortable with focus as BM, and different people learn at different speeds; some will learn more quickly, some will learn more slowly.
5. Steady Shot
This falls under Arcane Shot - when you feel that you’ll need focus, cast Steady Shot.
So the priority again:
Kill Shot > Kill Command > Serpent Sting > Arcane Shot > Steady Shot
(obviously keep Hunter’s Mark up on the target but that goes without saying)
My advice is practice, practice, practice. It may take minutes, it may take hours, but eventually you’ll get comfortable with it and start to get a really good sense of when to use Steady Shot and when to use Arcane Shot while maintaining perfect Kill Command and Serpent Sting usage, to the point where right after using a Kill Command you’ll look at your focus and think, unconsciously, “I can use 3 Steady Shots and 2 Arcane Shots here and Kill Command on time.” It will come with practice. Don’t get discouraged! Part of the biggest challenge is that Invigoration introduces an element of randomness into focus regeneration, so you can’t really truly write a “rotation” and your focus will never be exact; you just want to always have enough for Kill Command/Serpent Sting, and never be capped (110 focus). Work at it, and it will click with you. Don’t give up!


V. Rotation: Advanced (Focus Fire and Cooldown Use)
1. Focus Fire
This is ability was garbage at one point, and then nerfed into further garbage, and then pet damage was changed and Focus Fire was buffed and now it’s great. Here’s the reasoning on that:
-While it does consume Frenzy stacks from your pet, this affects less than 1/2 of your pet’s damage because so much of that comes from your pet’s Basic Attack, which is unaffected by haste.
-Restoring 20 focus every 15 seconds to your pet is incredibly helpful with 2/2 Wild Hunt
-15% haste is giant for us. This greatly increases not only your focus regen rate, but also the rate at which you can Steady Shot, which indirectly increases your focus regen; you’ll see if you try BM with and without Focus Fire. You have noticeably faster focus regen with it.
Focus Fire grants you (# frenzy stacks * 3)% haste for 15 seconds and has a 15 second cooldown. Generally, as soon as it comes off cooldown your pet will have 5 stacks of Frenzy; however, the Focus Fire aura does not always show up right away. Your best bet is to use an addon that shows Frenzy stacks (I talk about one later). As soon as your pet has 5 stacks (or, if it already has 5, as soon as it comes off cooldown), you should use Focus Fire. Again, this is something to add once you can do everything else perfectly, because it’s another button to press every 15 seconds.
-Caveat: 15 seconds before BW, and during BW, do not use Focus Fire; during this time haste is significantly less useful (as you should never use Steady Shot during BW), and since your pet does so much more damage it’s better for it to have the extra haste.

2. DPS Cooldowns: Bestial Wrath, Fervor, Call of the Wild, Rapid Fire, Racial Abilites (Berserking/Blood Fury/Arcane Torrent)
This is surprisingly complex: just blowing them all at once is not optimal. The best thing to do is figure out how long a fight typically takes your group, figure out how many times you can use each cooldown, and then plan from there (e.g. if you can only use it once, save it for a time when you need it; if you can use it multiple times, try to maximize its usage by minimizing movement).
A note on cooldown stacking: It’s good to stack as many attack power/agility/etc cooldowns and 1 haste cooldown; stacking multiple haste cooldowns often brings Steady Shot to under 1 second, which is a waste of haste. You’re better off spacing haste cooldowns (Berserking, Rapid Fire, Bloodlust) out.
-Bestial Wrath: Use at the beginning of the fight, when you have full focus, and then as soon as it comes off cooldown for the rest of the fight (every 72 seconds). Before using it ensure that you have at least 70 focus. During BW you should keep up with your good Kill Command usage (and refreshing Serpent Sting if necessary) and spam Arcane Shot (obviously use Kill Shot at < 20%); this is why having 70-80+ focus is so important. Because of the damage buff and focus reduction you don’t want to ever use Steady Shot during BW (so you may need to cut some Arcane Shots leading up to it to store up focus), and as discussed above don’t use Focus Fire leading up to it or during it.
-Fervor: Use at the beginning of the fight right after your initial BW ends, and then whenever it’s off cooldown (effectively it adds 2 Arcane Shots that you would not otherwise have). It’s not optimal to use it during BW because it wastes a GCD with the damage buff and you don’t need the extra focus during BW.
-Call of the Wild: Due to longevity, this has only a 3.5 minute cooldown, allowing it to be used multiple times. Use it during the initial BW, and then whenever it’s up (but also use your judgment here: if it’s off cooldown but you’ll be Bloodlusting in 15 seconds, save it for Bloodlust to maximize buff stacking, or if you need to save it to burn a boss down rapidly, like < 30% on Deathbringer Saurfang).
-Rapid Fire: Due to its 5 minute cooldown, most fights you only use it once, so save it for a time when you’re very low on focus, can remain stationary, and need the extra damage. On fights longer than 5 minutes, use it at the beginning (after your initial BW), so that you can use it again later in the fight.
-Berserking: Use at the beginning of the fight, after your initial BW/Fervor. I generaly burn my focus down to > 25 before popping it because the 20% haste allows you to regenerate focus rapidly. Like other cooldowns, use it whenever you can maximize its usage.
-Blood Fury: Sync up with initial BW, and the use it whenever its up. Not a giant buff so not a huge deal to stack with others (but as usual, if you can sync it up with things like BW/Fervor/Call of the Wild/Bloodlust, you should).
-Arcane Torrent: Like Fervor, pop after initial BW, and then whenever it’s up. 15 focus is not a huge deal, but every little bit helps.


VI. Closing Thoughts, Useful Addons
I’ve found the following addons incredibly useful (all are on wow.curse.com):
Hunter Focus Bar
-Adds a resizable, movable focus bar that displays buffs just above it (VERY useful for looking at Frenzy stacks). I find it definitely incredibly helpful to have a giant focus bar that you can put wherever is easiest for you to see, rather than having to look at the tiny default one way up in the corner.
CoolLine
-Creates a linear scale that displays abilities moving across it as they cool down; very helpful for watching shorter, more immediate cooldowns (like Kill Shot, Kill Command, and Focus Fire), and can be a good way to at the same time check for when your DPS cooldowns will finish. I put it right next to my Hunter Focus Bar so that all of it is in one place.
NeedToKnow
-Lets you create and place bars that time buffs, debuffs, etc. Very helpful for tracking Serpent Sting duration on the target (so you know how much is left before you need to refresh - helps for budgeting focus for it), and can be used for other nice stuff (like tracking Trap durations and Mend Pet duration). Like CoolLine, I have it next to my Hunter Focus Bar so that everything I need is in one place.

Ok raga, ma lo sapete vero che all'85 sarete tutti nuovamente SV e che praticamente non vi cambierà na fava?^^^^^^

Con le modifiche da PTR arriverete a 12k di DPS vestiti full blu da eroiche e con qualche violetto e nei raid in generale vi giocate le prime posizioni con i Lock e i Warriors.

Ho già guardato tutti i video dei raid da PTR e siete circa sempre a questi livelli di DPS

Infatti noto con mio dispiacere ke attualmente a lvl 80 Markman e Beastmaster non fanno una fava di dps!!!

Vedo sempre in ordine
1 lokki   12000 dps
2 maghi o dk   10000 dps
3 hunter/pally  6000/7000/8000 dps

Questo al momento è l'andazzo.


Ho un serio problema con rallentamenti e CD di abilità...posso premere su un abilità che vedo va in CD ma di fatto non casta...e mi trovo a perdere inutilmente tempo!
(da  MM poi altre spec non so)

a breve provo Surv per vedere se rende un po di più! anzi rispecco stasera stessa!!!

ps ovviamente non ho risochettato e incantato tutto se tra un mese arriva CATA!

Dopo la traumatica serata della scorsa settimana dal LK, ho respeccato MM e le cose mi sembrano migliorate. Ho guadagnato circa 1500-2000 dps sul dummy e la gestione del focus mi sembra molto più semplice.

Mi attendo cmq un'altra bella delusione al prossimo raid...

Survival SV Hunter Patch 4.0.1 Talents, Rotation, and Glyphs

Patch 4.0.1 as gone live, bringing the massive 4.0.1 hunter changes from focus to the new talent trees to mastery and specializations. We’re going to go over the key survival hunter 4.0.1 changes here, including the best SV hunter talent builds, rotations, and best SV hunter glyphs for patch 4.0.1.

Patch 4.0.1 is still relatively new, and these guides are being updated as fast as we can discover new hunter data.
Survival SV Patch 4.0.1 Talents

As always, we’re focusing on boss fight dps with our talents. Note that in particular we skipped our 2nd rank of Serpent Spread, which will increase your AoE dps — but we skipped it ’cause we don’t care about trash, we care about bosses. I went for Go for the Throat because for the brief period between 4.0.1 and Cataclysm we will have crazy, ridiculously high crit chances — the highest crit chances we will every have again, in fact.
Survival SV Patch 4.0.1 Rotation

All hunter rotations are priority-based in patch 4.0.1. You never want to be sitting at 100 focus — when you are that means that any focus you gain is lost, rather than converted into better dps.

    * Start fight with Hunter’s Mark, and by applying Serpent Sting
    * Refresh Serpent Sting when needed.
    * Always hit Explosive Shot when it’s available if you can — this means you’ll need to try to have the focus saved up for it.
    * Fire Black Arrow when it’s available.
    * Use Arcane Shot to bleed of excess focus. This probably won’t happen often.
    * Use Steady Shot to regen focus.

SV is in an interesting situation in the patch 4.0.1 build. We don’t yet have Cobra Shot to refresh our Serpent Sting, which blows. We have to waste focus to refresh our Serpent Sting, which can leave us focus starved.

At level 80, you’re likely to experience chaotic swings from being focus starved, to having too much focus, but mostly you’ll be focus starved.

Note that serpent sting actually does more damage total than explosive shot (because of imp serpent sting) thus it’s better to delay explosive to fire serpent sting.

During Lock & Load Procs you’ll want to weave shots in between your explosive shot. Hunters now have a 1 second global cooldown, meaning we have a lot more time to work extra shots in between our Explosive Shots during Lock & Load procs. You can use Steady Shot in here, but this is also a fantastic time to refresh your Serpent Sting, even if it has some time left on it. If you’re full on focus, you can use Kill Command to bleed some off in between Explosive Shots.
Survival SV Patch 4.0.1 Glyphs

SV Prime Glyphs
The prime glyphs are our heavy-hitters. These are the ones that are actually going to impact our dps. Currently it’s looking like the following are going to be the best choices:

    * Glyph of Kill Shot
    * Glyph of Steady Shot
    * Glyph of Explosive Shot

Note that you won’t want the Serpent Sting glyph once you have access to Cobra Shot — but at level 80 it’s a huge focus-saver.

SV Major Glyphs
Most of the major glyphs are not going to have a direct impact on your dps. They are oriented around pvp, quality of life, or leveling (Glyph of Misdirection is phenomenal for soloing). Personally I’m a huge proponent of using Disengage to minimize time wasted on movement, thus I think that the Disengage glyph is potentially a dps-increasing glyph. Everything else is really up to you.

    * Glyph of Disengage
    * …whatever else you’d like

SV Minor Glyphs
Similar to major glyphs, the minor glyphs aren’t going to increase our dps. However there are few enough choices that I do think the following three are the best choices.

    * Glyph of Mend Pet
    * Glyph of Feign Death
    * Glyph of Revive Pet

Non posso incollare tutto in prima pagina, mi dice ke supera le 2000 righe o qlc del genere!


Cmq molto carino SV....ho meno problemi di frame e facile da usare..fa un botto di dps oltretutto!

1- kill shot
2- serpent da refreshare (tranne MM)
3- Abilità speciale master (Kimera/Explosive/ per bm solo arcane+kill command!!!)
4- Buttaci un arcane se hai focus oppure se sei surv lo sting speciale black arrow(puoi metterlo prima o dopo lo il punto 5, questo è quanto ho elaborato nella mia rotation)
5- Steady Shot per reccare...e si ricomincia...


Personalmente rimango Surv Paolo, perchè così non ho problemi di tasti ke vanno in cd...devo solo refreshare gli sting, buttare giù l'explosive quando ce l'ho, o aspettare ke procca l'istant (ti ricordi i vecchi tempi a calcolare precisi i millesimi in cui lanciare le abilità? ihihi) steady steady steady e ancora steady..ah e nel tutto rimanere fermi perchè hanno rimesso sniper training!!! Cioè se stai fermo aumenta il tuo danno

per stasera il mio l'ho emsso surv e al dummy faccio 5200 dps. dovrebbe andare bene

NEW...

sono all'82 e ho appena guadagnato cobra shot in Survival molto utile e potente....consiglio di castarlo a inizio fight nella rotation iniziale ma anche una valida alternativa allo steady shot!

Ho risistemato i talenti ke mi sono accorto avevo masso male......TREMATE!!!!  :brucelee:
